Welcome to Ashfield House Bed and Breakfast in Tinahely, County Wicklow. With over 15 years experience in running a B&B, Helen and Noel are hosts who really know how to look after their guests. The bed and breakfast has a friendly atmosphere and children are always welcome. The tenth-generation farmhouse has seven bedrooms; four twin bedrooms, two double and a family room, all have en-suites with a shower. Each bedroom comes equipped with a television, radio-alarm and hair dryer. A comfortable guest lounge provides access to tea-making facilities and a large television with satellite channels. Guests are always welcome to stroll around the garden and spend time in the gazebo and enjoy the water features. Breakfast is served from eight until ten, or earlier by request. A selection of ten breakfast choices follows the inviting starter plate of fresh fruit. Specialties include scrambled egg and smoked wild salmon (sourced in Kerry and Mayo), French toast with a hint of cinnamon or fresh fruit with maple syrup. Three course evening meals are available with advance notice. Typical menu choices include steaks made from locally sourced meats, fish, vegetarian roasted vegetable pipernade or other varying choices. A bottle of house red/white wine is also available.
