1.  Why do I have to Register to Submit a Listing?

We can answer this with one word:  Spam.  If we didn't require registration, we'd soon be inundated with entries  submitted by spam bots.  When you register, and subsequently confirm your registration we have reasonable confidence that you are a real person.  This doesn't guarantee that spammy listings won't make it into the Irish Internet Yellow Pages (IIYP), but it does give us a fighting chance of catching them.   

2.  How do I Register?

• Click on the Register link on the right-hand side of the homepage (directly underneath the Log In box).  Fill in the required information.  

• If you would like to choose your own password while registering, un-tick the "Auto generate Password" box and fill in your preferred password.   Fill in the letters you see in the captcha phrase. If you can't make out the image, click on the image to have another one generated.    

• Then, submit.   

• You should receive a confirmation mail in a few minutes.  Once you've confirmed your registration, we'll activate your membership and you'll be able to submit listings to IIYP.   note:   Activation may take up to 24 hours.  

3.  How do I Suggest a Listing?

• Under  "Suggest listing, "  locate the category you'd  like to place your listing in. 

• Click the (+)  plus sign next to yellow folder if you'd like to see sub-categories . ie. Holiday Ireland/Dublin/B&B's. 

• Then Click "Apply"   (Apply will appear next to your selected category at the top of the screen). You should now see  the screen with just the plans.  Select the Plan you wish. Enter your listing details. 

• Press "Suggest Listing"

• We will approve your listing and notify you when it's live.

4.  Are all listings accepted?

No.  If your listing is not for an Irish-based business or website, or if it does not have a STRONG connection with Ireland (ie.  tourism, culture, Irish expat, Irish sport, etc)  we will not accept it for IIYP.
